Black exhaust wrap isn't worth using on a manifold. Even the dei wrap used with the dei high temp silicone spray spreads fibres everywhere and makes a fair mess. Gonna be fun re wrapping it with titanium wrap before the cruise on Saturday.

I've heard heat shields are better but I'd like to get away without a heat shield if possible. I know it's a cop magnet but I prefer the look of the manifold without a heat shield. It was the reason I wanted to have it ceramic coated in the first place but the coating is not holding much heat in at all so wrap it is.

(of course making sure all of the lines/hoses/wires around the rear of the manifold are not anywhere near where they can melt from radiant heat
