I have always wondered how a N/A FG Motor would go with a turbo on, insane.Regarding Injectors, are Factory injectors poorly flow matched and is that the reason why Fiftyone you are suggesting to get aftermarket ones? I can't see any other reason why from performance point of view on the N/A engine as you won't really require to push for much more fuel flow modding an N/A.That's right, a not just flow matched but What I would call "fingerprinted" as they've been tested in a specific way for a length of time in a specialised chamber to derive this information. Ok, 1000 is over kill, but I want 350wkw in my ute, and they are still too big technically for that. So? Ok there are other more suited injectors on the market that have have this treatment but are smaller flow. Re anything else so far, OP still hasn't enlightened us anymore and we are still making assumptions about this car and build. I haven't seen anyone jumping up & down re replacing the stock computer in any of this, but my option on fuel system selection is sh*t canned. I know there are some gains to be had with a NA Barra engine re cams and that's backed up with a post above. If someone is that keen to ring every last kw out of a stock engine, I would consider it. Probably more so if the computer and/or cam was changed.

He doesn't need the extra flow..the stock ones idle and operate perfectly ...they're stock why would you want to burn 700 bucks on injectors you don't need

There are superior injectors on the market, so if someone was going to future proof the car for a turbo, assuming that's what might happen, why not? If people don't like what I've said, I'm not going to disagree with their opinion should they make a case for anything here.

No one flow matches injectors at 40% or even 75%. The ones I'm referring to are done in all conditions. Just because one injector is pulsing correctly at a certain rpm, pressure, etc etc doesn't mean the other is in sync with it. The guys at kpm gave a really good run down on this and they changed my mind about it all. I just installed an expensive set of injectors and I've seen the difference. Would I recommend them for this application if I were asked? Yup Edited 18/05/15 02:41 PM by FiftyOne
