Hi guys,

Going to upgrade FG II F6 ute with Nizpro Stage 2 (approx 320-330 rwkw) Has done 70,000km, freeway running, dealer service + synthetic oil change every 7500k, never dragged or flogged and has 275/30x19 Direzza Z1 StarSpec tyres on rear.

Am I likely to have any problems with ZF trans or diff and what times do you think I would run with 330rwkw and good 275 rubber if I did have a crack at the drags.

This is all a bit new to me so any advice is welcome.

Thanks....

I own a BF but same same...see build thread linked in my sig. Has done a stack of kays...

330rwkw will get you an 11 with a ZF even with a 2 second sixty footer, as long as everything is working like it should.

About that power level is the maximum on a ZF for repeated power handling over a long time, that is a testament of Steves real world testing. The box though can handle more power, it is just a matter of how long it will do it.

I had 318 kw when my bf2 had 120k on it. Then at 135k got 370kw. Gets driven pretty hard. But if I'm going to be boosting I keep it in manual mode.

Got a service at about 130k. Done 145k now. Slips when changing gears at high boost in drive. And doesn't go into 4th in manual mode at full boost. But that only happens when gearbox Is hot.

I don't have a ZF tune or even a tranny cooler.

I've heard of a BF making 1200nm at the wheels on a stock box. Had it like that for three years. I've also got a dyno chart from a ute making 425wkw and 900nm on a stock box. They will hold it. If but for a while. If the shaft doesn't go the clutches will
