I dont think he knows how to use the x3 I might have to bang it on there for him , so just to be clear, are you saying if I put the stock tune back that will change the shift patterns back again ? so it will be less vicious during changes? then if I re upload the 293kw tune it will be smoother because it hasnt learnt how I drive that tune(like a reset)?...... I thought changing a shift pattern would be a seperate things to the ecu "run tune" but then again im no mechanic im just an auto sparky lol

there is a separate trans tune and eng tune file. If you flash just the trans tune back in it will take a little time for the trans tune to fully settly back from stock, but you will see an immediate change to the way it shifts.

Spot on info ralph.

My trans tune was starting to get very jumpy coz of the way I was driving over the last few months so a couple of weeks ago I did exactly what you recommend above -- flash back to stock and then reload my engine and trans tune -- and the trans is perfect again.

Yeah I was gonna say don't stick the engine tune back in if it's had hardware mods especially stuff like injectors or even full exhaust.

What mods are on the car currently?

I have the same injectors and they max out around 330-340 (remembering dynos can be made to read high/low easily). Depends how far the tuner is willing to push them as well (ie commanding 100% duty cycle or choosing to stop at 90 odd). Also every car is different. Intank pump could also restrict depending on designed flow rate or even if you're unlucky with filter cleanliness (intank filter or inline filter under the passenger side).

Cooler is probably good for that power though IIRC. Exhaust is good. Stock crossover is good for 400rwkw too, so I've read.
