Apologies about the spelling, Its just 1 word that I cant spell lol

I have an 04 BA turbo, I have a problem with the turbo not whinding up. After giving it to her a little. I heard a pop sound like a hose has popped off. The turbo does whind up but it seems it may have over pressuried and blown off a hose somewhere

I have had similar problems in the past where it turned out to be one of the clamps that connects the airhose to the turbo.

Have checked:

-All clamps which connect to the air plannum

-Turbo air clamp

-The air intake connections

-All hoses on the top of engine.

Is there something that I am missing?

Any help would be appreciated,

Cheers lads

HI Ralph, I have checked all rubbers and connections. They are all in tact and tight

Could it possibly be that the blow off valve is seized open? or perhaps the boost solinoid has some debris in it? or even possibly the waste gate actuator?

It sounds like it is whinding up. I have a boost guage and it only has + pressure.
