GeGe6 Donating Members 1,978 Member For: 12y 6m 4d Gender: Male Location: Perth, SOR Posted 06/05/15 11:54 AM Share Posted 06/05/15 11:54 AM As an ex Ford tech he had seen a tone modded cars with the failed oil pump gears in for warrant claims.He couldn't understand while shops weren't advising customers of the potential failure.One guy had spent $25,000 on built motor and still had Std oil pump gears.The guy that owned that car was doing a burnout and lost oil pressure.The car ended up at this work shop and when it was pulled down he confirm std oil gear failure!Said he was gob smacked it didn't have billet gears.They looked though all the customers receipt from work done to confirm he hadn't been ripped off, but found nothing in all the invoices.
