Anybody able to comment on the life expectancy of the Ferodo DS pads? Mine are biting very wll and it may be too early to crow that mine don't shudder. I might have clocked up only 1500 km. I scraped the hubs free of rust etc so I hope the new rotors mated well to the hubs.PAH

Just wondering in comparison to the Ultimates.

Then again, one retailer (Repco) had no knowing of Ultimates at all, nor was it in their system. So now I'm faced with just settling on the Heavy Duty ($120-130), which are definitely compatible with my car and brake setup, or doubling the price up to the SRTs or Ferodo DS's, each around $250.Ugh, probably just the HD's. Noise doesn't seem to be mentioned much on here but I've been in some cars with high performance pads and they can be very noisy which I wouldn't want on a daily personally

barnz Member 3,047 Member For: 11y 2m 8d Gender: Male Location: Brisbane Posted 09/05/15 10:56 PM Share Posted 09/05/15 10:56 PM Get a1rm's for like another 20 bucks. They are dusty and noisy but performance is virtually unmatched for the price. PMU ns400's are another option that aren't dusty and noisy. They are pretty much the same price as a1rm's in the pbr calipers. Unsure about brembos.
