I guess that is still better than using the stock ones and having them flog out every 2 seconds.

Mal Wood in Warwick Qld adjusted the diff and gearbox in mine a few years back and it's bean much better ever since. I mentioned this to Spiro at Autotech and I think he said that he could have done the work for me in Sydney. In the hotter summer months, I still get a bit of rollover noise in neutral with my foot off the clutch. Push the clutch in and the noise disappears. That noise disappears in the cooler months. Maybe a trans oil cooler would eliminate the noise, but the gearbox shifts more smoothly when its warm. If my memory is correct, Mal Wood recommends Caltex Trans Max Z synthetic fluid for the gear box. He also fitted a remote clutch bleed line for me.PAH Edited 02/05/15 10:14 PM by PAH

The FG is almost a perfect car this is the only let down if somebody could design a different subframe setup I would buy it.How do you avoid the clunk, keep your foot plantedit's like the joke how do you avoid a hangover, keep drinking.
