Guys,

Just curious as to wether the same spark cut out you get inbetween gear changes on the FG when giving it a boot full can be tuned into a BF.

Im quite sure on the FG you can tune it out and vise versa, but are you able to get this done to a BF?

I'm assuming this will help with tranny longevity?

I never said nuthin.....

Yes it can, spark cut tends to help clutches but can be hard on the input shaft depending on severity and duration

I think you will find the cut is hard on the input shaft as Ralph has suggested because of the way it shock loads the box. It varys so much in how aggressive it is, I've had a couple that have made me cringe.

Reading through this I think there is some confusion on what is being discussed

Eg "tuning the cutout to be active in a bf" vs "tuning out the cut so it does not happen any more"
