deka 80 lb injectors spray pretty much onto the divider in the cylinder head and cause wall wetting and puddling so fuel economy would be better with an injector with a better spray pattern, 14.7:1 is very lean for E85 even at cruise

I dislike Dekas from personal use

Siemen Dekas 2433cc - 620hp at 80% duty cycle

Bosch 2200cc - 680hp at 45% duty cycle

Only thing was a retune for new fuel map to suit bosch ones

So the Dekas don't spray cleanely into either side of the devider, so you get uneven distribution of fuel coming through each inlet valve?...

So the Injector Dynamics and KPM ones are better suited to the XR6T inlet port configuration?...as in the spray pattern is distributed more evenly on either side of the divider?

the 60's are a better spray pattern than the 80's but low speed control is not great in the Deka's.

At this stage, only the factory injectors appear to have the 100% correct spray pattern, but the spray from the KPM and ID's does not appear to cause issues, infact my wifes G6ET averaged a trip of 7.8 l/100klms with a set of KPM's in place

As is often the case with these cars, save up the extra coin and do it better/right the first time! All comes down to the tuner really though so make sure you've picked a reputable one.

I have 42lb Bosch green tops in mine and they are the bottleneck for me right now at about 320rwkw. Would love a set of ID1000s but can't justify the spend as I'd need a retune as well if I changed them. Should have saved more at the time but they were fairly new and closer to a grand for a set of six I think (2010).
