The tap was done up pretty tight so I used a ring spanner and an extension through the ring to open it. I'm hoping its not the rad tankAny idea where the best place to get a replacement is? And if they're generic or specialist?

I figured the higher output motors would have oversized units. I was thinking about looking in to oversized replacements anyway, was talking with another member earlier, apparently pwr do a direct replacement but it's $1000 so made from gold dust & strippers tears. You can over capitalise too though sometimes. If it was 50/50 track use it would be a no brainer. That said if there was a way to keep the oil & trans temps down even for rd use Id be pretty interested. Don't know how you'd increase flow to the coolers though. Hmmm, need to have a drink in the shed & have a think about it

With an upgraded intercooler as well, it is an extremely tight fit! The radiater isn't really designed for the turbo car. It's for the V8s Edited 06/04/15 08:55 PM by Seaton

They're also a fair bit cheaper than the pwr job. Edited 06/04/15 11:34 PM by OZYWALKER

The Plaz cooler moves the radiator back also, but you can only go so far back before its on the engine. Also the car it was fit too was actually replacing the Fenix radiator that was on it.
