Pretty much as above. Wonder if anyone else has had similar issues. The tap was done up pretty tight so I used a ring spanner and an extension through the ring to open it. I'm hoping its not the rad tank

Any idea where the best place to get a replacement is? And if they're generic or specialist?

just make sure if you buy a new radiator ,that it is the one to suit a turbo 6 as they have more fins than a standard one . the fins are what cools your radiator ,the more the better

Rodger. I figured the higher output motors would have oversized units. I was thinking about looking in to oversized replacements anyway, was talking with another member earlier, apparently pwr do a direct replacement but it's $1000 so made from gold dust & strippers tears. You can over capitalise too though sometimes. If it was 50/50 track use it would be a no brainer. That said if there was a way to keep the oil & trans temps down even for rd use Id be pretty interested. Don't know how you'd increase flow to the coolers though. Hmmm, need to have a drink in the shed & have a think about it

Not sure what model car you have, but if an FG, I have fit a PWR 55mm radiater to an FG before. With an upgraded intercooler as well, it is an extremely tight fit! The radiater isn't really designed for the turbo car. It's for the V8s

I have the Fenix 42mm radiator in my FG and it clears with a PW stage 3 intercooler, no rubbing at all.

Might fit better due to the PW 3 kit moving the radiator back.

They're also a fair bit cheaper than the pwr job.

The one we fit was a 55mm radiator, with a Plaz 1000hp cooler. The Plaz cooler moves the radiator back also, but you can only go so far back before its on the engine.

Also the car it was fit too was actually replacing the Fenix radiator that was on it.

Having held them both, you can not compare the quality of the Fenix with the PWR.
