Well given your 98 tune is off by around 40ish kw which is pretty much the same as your e85 tune it seems like that power is being lost somewhere, most likely the box. Is it making a weird wharring noise?

Just remember to swap the mechatronics (tcm) unit over if you do that.

Realistically 400rwkw(and butt loads of torque) is pretty close to the limit of a stock zf

Looks as if the run was in 3rd gear which also gives a higher reading.

3rd / 4th....nothing in it bud.

Also pretty easy to datalog and work out if the convertor is an issue. They should have done that if they thought there was an issue with the convertor.

I called and asked but ..... "the dyno broke" and apparently my info got wiped ... not sold on that hey but autotech are a reputable shop so hopefully nothing suss here im gonna run it on another dyno before I replace converter and box then go back on both and compare

im still keen on going a low K FG box would it be worth just pulling it down and putting exedy clutches in (just the 600 ones) with low Ks everything else should be ok and I dont want to rebuild the motor so 440rwkw would be the max it may ever see
