Does it have clutch pack clearances etc?

Can't say it does from memory, but it is a very comprehensive breakdown

Are the clutches the main "flogging out" point or are there other things that tend to wear?

clutches are the main thing that wears in most boxes, clearance is one of the main things that will influence what the box will shift like, we have done boxes but our ZF programme is still in R&D

Yeah the CMS website is a bit out of date with their ZF build page.

They can now offer exedy clutches and billet input shaft. Give Joe a ring and he'll talk you through it.

Now what I really have been wondering, Automatic boxes are very complicated machines, I have pulled many apart.

So I'd be very careful over who I let rebuild the box unless they have every single factory spec like clearances etc that ratter mentioned

I just don't see how every single workshop can be offering ZF Rebuilds themselves, I would only have an Auto trans shop do it.
