I've got a ba xr6 turbo and aiming for 700rwhp+, so far engine is down to bare block and have had head work done.

Pretty much wanting to know what engine parts are good and what to use, what brands, parts etc.

Wanting to run a high mount turbo manifold, what turbo would be a good size, gt42 etc?

Engine will most likely run a built 2 speed powerglide behind it.

Will be run on e85 so what fuel system will be good to support it.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Almost 'Am I Gunna Get There' 2.0

sorry I can't be of help....just thought it was funny having two relatively similar build threads so close together. Except yours seems more crazy with the powerglide and high mount

I'm sure other wiser blokes will chime in soon enough!

lol , just ask a tuner instead of this forum ,you will get less hassles that way . ps how much money have you got to spend on it ? ba engine re build about $8000 plus ,and 2 speed glide $8000 , fuel supply $2000 ,exhaust $1500 plus and all the extra stuff like turbo etc

Spool rebuild kits are a good start. Also talk to tbre he is super helpful even over the phone, as is brad from atomic. Gtx42 would be a excellent turbo in my opinion, or even look into the new gen precisions. 6466 lent on hard would get you close with pretty epic spool. Not much of a high mount though.

Fuel system is a personal choice. 2 044's on a surge tank in the engine bay would be a start but may not flow enough. Then you have the process west twin 460's in a surge that is gaining popularity. Or look at the intank twin pump systems.

Yeh have been looking at the spool kits and also atomic. was thinking around a 42 for the turbo.

Fuel system I've been looking at the process west setups, they look like the go.
