Cracks in the intake manifold are normal? Or do you just mean the difficulty in removing the bolts and studs on the intake manifold (I know that's normal :P )?

Fark mate, you have come this far. I know you have had all this bad luck and to tell you the truth, my life is like that.

Just hang in there and get it done slowly. There is no rush at all unless it is your daily driver.

Once you finally get it running the way it should be, it WILL make you SMILE fro ear to ear.

You will never want another car, just ask bomber (unless you can afford an R35)

Stop what ever you are doing with the car, step back and take a breather for a week or two and don't think about the car.

DONT let it consume you life right now.

Have a break and when you come back to it in a couple of weeks, sort it out.

I really have my fingers crossed for when this guy comes out to look at the engine, that he will give you the green light.

When I pass away at an old age and I finnaly meet MURPHY, I think I am gonna beat the living sh*t out of him.the *beep*.

ratter the whole bolts look like they were dipped into red looktight on the exhaust manifold side . there is all this red crumbly stuff in the threads . it does look like to me that the manifold was removed and then reinstalled . sorry but the computer will not let me post photos .

GHP if you are using internet explorer on the computer, turn on compatibility mode to allow you to upload pics.

Otherwise install google chrome.

Ford 10mm head FG exhaust manifold bolts DO come with a band of lock style sealant at the 1/4 area

Factory replacement bolts also have this

It was done to combat the "typical" B series loose manifold bolt syndrome

Carbon on piston tops points in the direction of being "grandpa'd" around as the factory tune is nice and rich

The back oil is neither here nor there but suggested higher than 6k life span clearly

The roller rockers seen like that are becoming common enough now so dont stress on that to much

Inlet port crack ........ Hummm I can neither confirm nor deny if this is in fact a part of the design or a genuine crack

But I would lean towards design ( sorry I can't remember the fg inlet currently)

Honestly this is not over yet and is not by far a lemon

Do a comp test and report findings

have never seen Loctite on a FG turbo stud, maybe I haven't looked hard enough?? The FG threads are different which eliminates most of the coming loose issues
