There is alot of little things that you need to know about as well that isn't easily thought if at the time. I have rebuilt many different engines and the first set of bolts I tightened on my build I got wrong.

well ,I accidently on my last engine had no idea that lbs and nm were different . so my harmonic balancer is on very tight lol . was supposed to be 125 nm not lbs . will never ever make that mistake again

Please keep in mind that I am not recommending to use the standard pistons in any way. I simply said that the guys at MT use the same brand, but a different piston that is a better model.

masda , I know what you meant . I am now way to deep to not get this engine build . I will just have to close my eyes and just hand over my cash to the engine builder ,as they know more than me . after listening to ratter it is definitely a skill to get it right .I have to admit even in my trade I hate when someone does there own work and then when they can not get it to work phone us to fix it ,they would have saved money by letting us do it the correct way the first time .

I might come across as a cheap skate ,but I am not I just like doing most of the work my self (and yes I am on a budget of $17,000 )no way will that be enough to get it all done . would love to assemble the engine my self but it is not a Expensive Daewoo 202 that just gets driven to the shops and back .
