From what I've seen thus far, aside from the roller pic, I don't think it's too bad at all.I would have maybe binned the sus roller/s and installed new cams (if required) with your new valve springs and got it running. Checked compression and if all good, away you go. Now that you've gone this far, I'd put oil pump gears in it. If you've already pulled the pants off, remove one cap and check the bearing. If fine, get it to TBRE and get Tony to screw it back together with new pump gears and away you go.

Can't just hone it and fit forged pistons. It will need to be bored over. And if you have gone this far you could have used your standard engine. All your keeping is your block and crank.

I was always going to change the oil pump gears so I thought I might as well do the chain and gear . thought that by fitting a low mileage FG engine I would save some money . as I save on a plenum -turbo housing etc .so what ist he best way of going to fix this problem ,if I send the engine back I can see him not paying me all the money (maybe half ? SO I MIGHT KEEP IT AND ASK HIM FOR A $1000 BACK . was thinking to take it to a machine shop and get them to balance it and fit new bearings and rings if needed .please give me some advise on what might be the best way to approach this . I know I should have just got a engine build as I am a fussy kahnt , just thought that the engine would have been like new without wear and tear . am I just exaggerating about the problems with the engine or am I right about that there is a problem
