So if you're happy with it then all good. I was purely questioning the whole massive power with tiny tyres thing. It's your money dude....and obviously only opinions can be spread here and you will ultimately do what you want cause its your car! (much like how 95% on here would say my blacked out indicators are fukin sh*t). All I am thinking is if you are content with the red rocket....then would a 17k build be really necessary? Surely you would be happy with say 420rwkw and only needing to do the box and freshen up a couple things and save like 8k in the process? I'm probably completely off with the prices and sh*t though

RDP will not even tune one over 280 rwkw . and I will need parts to support the extra power ,its not just turn up the boost and you have 400 plus rwkw ? Jamie will get back tomorrow with a price he said today ,so I will just waitPTR .the engine and gearbox are not up to scratch with the parts that I have fitted to this ute . 3 year old paint job -3.9 true track diff - new tail shaft - new suspension ,shocks ,springs , (john bow rear leafs to stop axle tramp ) camber caster kits -new nolathane bushes, new ball joints etc - all new heater hoses ,new radiator (natrad genuine xr6 turbo ) battery relocation kit (under tray ) - nizpro cooler ,turbo smart hoses - powdercoated aluminium tray with custom made tail lights - 1000 hp rated engine mounts - cat back X FORCE system twin 2 1/2 - etc and the list goes on . I would hate to start again on a standard xr 6 turbo

Honestly it's not even that bad. You have to respect it and know that anytime you go full throttle it will turn the tyres, but as long as it's pointing straight it's all good.

Sort a surge tank with twin 044 pumps with required fuel reg and 1000cc injectors. Get the turbo sent off and whipped up to 450kw via a billet wheel and a nicely ported gate. Worry about a better cooler if it soaks badly on the dyno.

He has made his decision and he has to live with it.Do the road rules apply to the track when at power cruise?Surely he could put fatter tyres when at power cruise and then change back to 205 when going back onto public roads.Where there is a will, there is a way.

barnz Member 3,047 Member For: 11y 2m 2d Gender: Male Location: Brisbane Posted 25/03/15 12:22 PM Share Posted 25/03/15 12:22 PM Oh yeah Marco is the first person to give you support lol.Mate I know I did a bit of flip telling you to sell it as I've always been all about what your about. I guess I'm emotionally invested in your build now and getting f*cked over at the very start of phase 2 of this build would have been enough for me. Im not overly superstitious but like ive said I have been there with projects where you cant catch a break and it just felt like a sign.So kudos to you for carrying on. Im with Gaz about sourcing a manual. The tremacs be it a t56 or tr6060 are a very hardy bit of kit. I wouldn't be overly concerned about one with a few kays on it. The LS guys have been punishing the hell out of them for over a decade and failures are relatively rare.
