How did you pay for the engine/transmission? Might be a way you can get the bank to reverse it as fraud or "goods not as advertised"?You're seriously about to spend $20k plus (once all the incidentals add up) just to make a vehicle you're not totally happy with have more power. And in such a way that is opening you up for a hell of a lot of other stuff to not be satisfied with.I do apologise for most of my posts in your other thread, but, seriously - I do believe you'd end up a hell of a lot better off in the end if you drew the line, took a step back and actually looked at where you could end up at with the coins this build would end up costing you (if you weren't polishing a turd, so to speak)Again - apologies if any of this is rambling or off the mark (have been drinking tonight, pushing out a lot of backed up work and get a bit verbose), but I honestly believe it's time for you to stop being on the receiving end of all the crap and you need to do something major to change the flow :S

You really need to have a good think about all this. Like rab I belive it's time to move on. "Something major to change the flow" was a good way to put it.

Two of the three had more than 140k on the odometer, and it would be reasonable to assume that they would require some coin to replace worn components. So, would there be any gain, or would you have purchased someone else's problem and end back where you started? A phrase does come to mind: Better the devil you know, than the devil you don't????

My fg has 110 thou. The last one I linked seem like a pretty fair deal even though it's a BA. Was just a quick search anyway, just getting some burly in the water...He should do whatever it is he wants to do anyway, not what people on the Internet say and not what the missus says...
