That is a pretty good price. camo, I'd be interested in what tech specs your guy liked better with the NPC. Would you mind asking him again?

Surely someone on here has an xtreme organic twin plate and can weigh in.

I'm almost in the same boat power wise as you so would be keen to know what you end up with and what your thoughts are on it.

Yeah I'll ask him again tomorrow

I heard back from Stewart at Xtreme; he recommends their twin plate organic for up to and around 700 flywheel hp, so say 520kw which would be 480-490rwkw.

He says it has a nice light pedal - tbh I'd prefer something that felt like it could take a whoopin - and smooth engagement; increased gear noise "under labouring conditions, say accelerating in 4th from low speeds"

The plates don't have sprung centres, can't remember if that's something the npc has? could well be mistaken

Have never got the whole idea that rwkw is a percentage of flywheel power

Let's say your factor of 22% is correct

So stock FG xr6T with 270 at flywheel should pull about 220rwkw = 50kw loss through drivetrain and whatever else

That loss isn't going to increase just because I get mods and tune

It may not be the full 22%, But driveline loss is not a fixed amount. As you increase power, losses increase due to torque.
