Iv got the npc organic single in my Tornado aswel with similar power to yours.

It's not even run in yet but I'm pretty happy with pedal feel and it engages nice and early in pedal travel and not right against the fire wall like the old clutch I had. The bloke at npc said it will (if treated nicely) be fine with sticky tyres at the drags and running 295nt05's daily and cop a fair bit of abuse. He Also said the 430kw ratings are fairly conservative and has those clutches in cars pushing high 400's.

That's good to know mate. Glad you're happy with it. Doug did mention those things to me too, 430 may be a conservative figure but I'm more concerned about the torque I'll be making when get up over 400 and weather it will be up to the task. I just don't want to have to upgrade the clutch again in 12 months time.

I would run a twin plate organic setup if I was to go again.

How is the xtreme ceramic twin plate Gaz? Have you got it in yet.

If someone sells something that is not what it is, then no point sugar coating it.

Edit, I bought exactly what I thought I was getting. Just not easy to deal with on a day to day basis. Lucky I have a daily for that

I had another chat with NPC today

Looking back at the options from NPC

$1570 - Single plate organic

$1670 - Single plate button

$1815 - Single plate cushion button

$2500 - Twin plate organic

$3000 - Twin plate dual friction (organic / button)

After speaking to NPC for the second time and getting a few more options, I'm leaning towards theír single plate cushion button. It is more suited to my driving style & what I want from the car. If my car was a daily driver I'd go for the twin plate organic. If money wasn't so much of an issue id go straight for the twin plate dual friction.

They mentioned the reason they normally don't recommend the cushion button is because often people will drive them like a normal clutch and burn them out in no time.

I'm still trying to decide.........its so hard to buy good quality parts when you're a tight ass jew.

Anyone had experience with a cushion button..... thoughts?

I've had a stock, cushion button, full button, and now a twin plate ceramic.

I could just daily on a full button. Cushion is easy as to drive. Yes they will wear but you will get at least 2 years of abuse before its past its use by date.

There is a bit of a knack to getting them off the line. Basically higher revs then let the revs drop quickly when you take off before accelerating.

To me 1850 is alot of money for a single plate clutch. I would look at the twin plate organic extreme clutch.
