Hey all about 2 yrs ago I had my gearbox changed (BA XR6T) under warranty (nwc) because it would pop out of 2nd gear an not go into reverse properly , so I got it exchanged for a reco box now I've done around 15thou kms on it an now it's poping out of 2nd an crunching into 3rd unless I baby it in there ,

Is there a possibility that they put a xr6 non turbo gearbox in it , I don't drive my car hard at all an I thought May last abit longer then it has , I'm goin back to get another reco box in as per of warranty again.....

Just wanted some opinions

Thanks for reading an listening to me vent out

From memory there isn't much to see on the outside, perhaps a sticker if that.

It's not the answer you're looking for but either way round the T5 box was pretty useless in the Turbo unless the car was stock.

Rear yoke.

Buy a Mal Wood CSC with remote bleeder, makes life a heap easier.

Ive done auto to manual, so dont take all of this as gospel.

Get a NEW csc these are almost throw away items

Put a new one in and if the clutch it's self is suss just go a new one and get the csc in the clutch "kit"
