Hi everyone I have a FGxr6 turbo . mods cooler. full exhaust. 1000cc bosh injectors.e85 fuel pump. and eternal gate and screamer pipe . and safe tune . last week leaving work jumped on it wheel spun up the street. then I heard a rattle sound turned the car off checked under the bonnet and found the harmonic balancer broken and key way missing. tried to start it and sound like its got no comp. bottom end turning but not top end due to key way missing does anyone think I have bent valves . I am a mechanic never seen something like this

If the key way is missing the tone wheel/timing sprocket will slip on the crank. If it has chances are very high for bent valves. Get the rocker cover off and check valve timing on TDC.

Can you go thru this failure in a bit more detail, any pics. Pics of the keyway in the crank and the harmonic balancer would be good to. You are not suggesting someone forgot to put the key there??
