Hi guys, I have recently put a built motor that I bought off a forum member a while ago into my 05 xr6t, everything seems fine with it aside from the oil pressure once it starts heating up, it is still running as a stock motor with the stock tune and injectors ect. At a cold start I will see 60psi and it will slowly make its way down to around 20psi and sometimes a little lower as the temp gauge reads about halfway between a quarter and half. I'm using the same oil as I used before "nulon 10w40 fully synthetic" but I never used my oil pressure gauge then. The question that I have is, 1. Is this a normal oil pressure for an xr6t 2. being the fact that this motor has a forged bottom end, billet oil pump gears ect, do I need to run a higher viscosity oil?

Exactly what my pressure is mate with same oil. FG though.

Sounds fine to me.....nothing to worry about but if you are, I noticed a 'slightly' higher reading when running Castrol Edge

how much does the oil pressure change from stock -> modded (400rwkw) -> Built (600rwkw)?

Has anyone tracked it before or have an idea base don other posts they've seen?
