Dot5 will go off faster as a side effect of being able to handle the higher temperature. Something I was warned about when having Galvsport so a flush on my car. It's more hygroscopic than dot 4.

In a perfect world I'd have been along to this but I'll have to make do with videos. A tip is to film using windscreen phone mount if you don't have a gopro etc

Hope all you guys cars is still going strong after the day.

Is anybody experiencing spongy brakes after that or shuddering? My brakes feel a bit spongy and less bitey now.

Yeah, mine have lost the bite they use to have, still pull up fine but just need more pressure now. Also experienced axle tramp under brakes.... something I know nothing about fixing, but will look into it. next step is to buy braded lines and do a fluid flush. might also put new pads on the rear.

some not bad photos....

Good day in all. Thankyou Marco, well worth the effort. But im not sure I came out of the day better..... Driving the 86 has ruined me for wanting to put my car on the track. might just invest a little time and money into the missus's car and spend more time in it.

Yeh Dan , you were driving well.

See, the VF go great at the track, Todd was surprised he didn't close much on me on the straight.

Cheers Aaron. Was interesting hearing old mates comments about the GTS being too soft around the track! Imagine a set of the Tein monoflex on our cars around the track! They're a step up again from the Tein super streets they do for the falcons...reckon that and some even stickier tyres and it'd be like riding on rails!
