So I mounted a curb a couple of weeks back and I'm starting to think the issue I now have is linked to that.

When driving at speeds 80+ and via to the left I'm getting a grinding like sound from my front left (I think) wheel. It's almost like the sound you hear when you drive over those safety lines that are suppose to keep you from driving off the road

I'm starting to worry this could be the bearing, would I be on the money here or could it be the wheel alignment out of whack as have a bit of steering wheel vibration going in a straight line? (new tyres fitted and alignment done 2 months ago).

I've test it up to 130km/h driving dead straight, and no issue...sounds perfect

I'm thinking of going in tomorrow to get the alignment checked but if I'm wasting my time id rather keep the $65

Sounds more like a bearing or wheel balance issue - grinding sound would be bearing though

Wheel bearing noise "typically" will go away if u steer slight left or right but rumble going straight

Car is in getting balance and alignment done right now. Hopefully this fixes it. Turns out I was due for the 5,000km check so not costing me a cent :)
