Glad to get rid of the old crossover setup and move forward with something a bit different to every other BF on the road.I decided not to bother with the exhaust manifold for now, I am running aftermarket dump and exhaust as is, moving the lot around is too much bother while doing all this other work.Made a bit more progress today, I am waiting on some black silicone from ebay which is driving me up the wall as it would stop everything. Ended up sourcing a lovely "defect me" blue piece locally so we could continue and start making pipe bends fit. So the front bar came off and we started trial fitting here and there. After a bit of convincing all seemed to line up and welding began. We are going full custom cold side, running behind fog light, up under the headlight and then to TB. Welding selfie - look mum, no hands!!I clearly take selfies every day, such technique...We also sorted out vac lines and BOV piping, along with extending the boost sensor loom to the new location, from battery area to TB elbow. The pipes are all ready to go now and will dry overnight, painted black to match everything else, except the blue elbow - hope the black one arrives tomorrow!

All assembled and ready to go. Took it out for a run and changed the airflow maps, car feels nice and happy. Will add a little boost tomorrow but certainly feels good at the moment. Don't want to make any big calls without data, but Saturday at the drags will be the proof.....Before and after pics:

The power wasn't going to the ground at all. After a few slow runs tried starting in 2nd gear and got the fastest run of the day. Had to take it slow, as a hard 2nd gear launch led to smoking the track too.. Car has to be a bit stronger than before if I can close enough to match my previous et without using 1st gear this time. Sydney soon...

Our previous dyno has moved so trying to organise another one we can hire at a reasonable rate. Lot of places get upset when you want their dyno and not their tuner! First run of the day 292rwkw, see what we can achieve. Fingers crossed!

Wouldn't make more boost or power.Chucked an extra map sensor on the turbo and saw 21psi there, for 15psi at manifold. The cooler was a bit of an unknown but it looks like I am in the market now. Got to take a look at the usual suspects and see which will suit my needs and budget. The cooler currently in my car came from the auctions with a very unhappy falcon attached. This car had atomic rods, oil pump, pw surge among other things so the assumption was that the cooler would be up to scratch, turns out maybe not so much...
