I did consider stalling hard in 2nd and taking off that way - didn't get to try it. Not sure what the golden rule is for ZF racing, save some wheelspin and an extra shift by taking off in 2nd or just put it in 1st like it was always intended to be?!

This weekend should see a little road tuning to pick up a bit of power down low, and also correct boost cut issue. Hopefully I'll get back to the strip after this is done to get some proper runs and mph to compare. I'd like to see it getting off the line a bit quicker like that FG F6 slip that was posted if possible!

Select 1st stall to 8-10psi with the foot brake then let it rip

*needs 275/40/17 MT's to do this

I have the slicks for the job (255/50/16 ET street) but was being way too soft on it by the sound of this. Call it first time jitters, worried about leaving parts of my car on the strip. Re tailshaft - can I stall it this hard and expect to drive home? I live 2 hours from the strip and it's always a "school night" and late finish with no breakages.... Do a lot of them give up or most guys get away with it?
