As we all know, modifying cars is never smooth, and it's all sorted now after a bit of stress. Tim travelled a long way the first time to help me get back on the road, it's good to have mates willing to help out.Last Wednesday night I got back to the drags!! The big test finally. Spent the morning giving it a wash and packing all my gear and then headed down to Sydney in the arvo. I got a total of 5 runs in which I was very happy with. On the first run I discovered we still need to finish the tune properly, hitting boost cut in 3rd. This happened every run, so I didn't get a clean pass. Launch, run half track or so, hit cut, loss of power, get off it then back on. That considered, a few time slips are below. Best run was a 12.89 pass. Considering I hit boost cut, and had socket sets, 2 18" road wheels and tyres, and my usual 17" spare all in the boot, I think it's a fair time. Should be a lot of weight there to be removed next time around and of course staying on the throttle all the way will cut times down a lot.As you can see I got a bit over it toward the end of the night and just rolled over the line. Was good to run some 1/8ths though and go through the motions of a drag day. I still had a great night which was made better by winning the reaction time competition with a 0.003 light! Unfortunately I wasn't there to do big burnouts, and the smokey ones weren't photographed. Couple of pics from the day though:We will touch up this tune and then I'll go back for more. Oh, and I've also got Atomic valvesprings and the tool sitting on my loungeroom floor..... Edited 01/04/15 07:40 AM by IT15ON

If not do so the data is amazing

This could be a more realistic comparison because the issues only came late down the track (not sure how far down exactly but yeah).I didn't take the logging gear because Tim has been using it for some changes on his car. Once I ran that first pass I wished I had it, best I got was the go-pro on the guages but cant use that to tune, just review the run a bit... next time.. Cause smaller turbo has faster spool and therefore if you short shifted gears you might reach a faster mph at the end?And 60ft don't affect mph does it? And OP....0.003 reaction time is pretty crazy. You would do good for drag races like on Street Outlaws

ThanksEdit: whoops you pretty much said that a few posts up Edited 01/04/15 11:01 PM by PTR_NITRO_FG
