I know after market springs and shocks will be far better but for the price plus I can fit them, and have a slight upgrade. Main question is regarding the ride height, how much lower are the F6's and I assume the springs and shocks will be rated slightly more towards performance. Cheers. I sold my F6 springs/dampers to a guy with a G6E, but I'm pretty sure he was just going to use the dampers along with some aftermarket springs. Since sold the G6E and bought an F6, but swapped the suspension out of the F6 for Bilsteins. The F6 were definitely lower than the G6E shocks, about 15-20mm I think, plus my G6E had done nearly 100,000kms so I noticed a big increase in performance probably because the old shocks were worn out. Posted 28/02/15 04:39 AM Author Share Posted 28/02/15 04:39 AM Well springs and shocks are fitted, a lot easier than I expected, thanks to all the guides people posted.I can confirm that the ride height for G6E T and F6 are identical 370mm front and back, the springs for the rear are the same 047-044 AA so I didn't change them over.Front springs are shorter and thicker but end up at same ride height. No spring compressor required.G6E Springs front - white and yellow dot. Shocks - L F488X.F6 Springs front - white and red dot. Shocks - D D2B8 A.G6E Springs Rear - 047-044 AA.
