Dsc Fault

Hey guys driving along normally in my fg f6 yesterday dsc fault appeared on my dash reached my destination and turned vehicle off and then when returning fault dissapeared and hasn't returned checked with xcal no codes coming up any ideas? Maybe abit of water of something on a sensor? Thanks guys :)

I have had the same thing happen twice.

No idea what has caused it, the first time it happened I was driving home after having valve spring done.

Hmmm yea weird hey :/ I've had headlamp

Fault come up as well ages ago

And then never again hmmm dads an electrician so had him

Check all earths and Wateva else he could check (not that great with electrics my self) and everything came up

I put it down to dirty ABS sensor, as it was just random.

I was sitting at lights waiting for them to turn green.

From my experience it could be steering angle sensor...I don't think the xcal will pick up a DSC error.

What you need is an elm device and the forescan program whch allow you to check the DSC fault, and if it is a steering angle sensor that's off, it will allow you to recalibrate it.
