Took the car to the track on Wednesday . Had a bit of an issue , after selecting the next gear the revs would hold steady and not increase for a short period before it would continue on.
Feels like it's slowing the car down a fair bit and would explain why the mph is low. Could possibly be the converter not locking up.

Will get the car sorted and give it another run

Rebuilt with tce 2700rpm converter .

I'm happy with how the gearbox is shifting . It's just after the shift that it feels like it's not accelerating at a consistent rate.

Still happy with the 10.5

Only guessing at the moment .

Standard gearbox was shifting perfect until the weld on the basket failed.

Mine did something similar prior to the rebuild, was going to suggest worn frictions but seeing that the box has been rebuilt then maybe it is the converter.

Are the rev's sort of sitting at one one point and not falling per shift? Sort of feels like if you were manual you had your foot slightly on the clutch so slight slip?

Car won't feel like it's accelerating like it should be?

If so that's converter not locking up 100%!!!

Congrats, awesome time!

Regarding the r888s - noise gets bad above 70km/hr. Bear in mind my car has sound deadening as well.
