by the time I get a fg engine ,and change oil pump gears and valve springs and fit some arp bolts to it .it costs me a fortune (transport is also a huge amount ) there was a fg engine for sale with only 750 klm on it for $6000 plus 300 for transport .I just want to have all new parts ,that is why I would like to build a engine .forced performance even said a build motor would be the better way to go . I can get a fg intake to suit a ba for $1000 ,but will need a fuel rail to suit . but everyone is right I am way better of to get a FG engine ,that would be the only way to get this car back on the road for what I can afford .what is the best year model to buy (cam problems )etc

dominello is going to build the BTR ,he has a 9 second ba that the box has been in for over 2 years

the fuel pump is just a complete drop in walboro (big one ) from gilebys at Toowoomba ($550) . also phoned KPM today ,he said I would need there big twin pump one if I want 450 rwkw ($1650 +delivery ) also will have to change fuel tanks to suit there pump ,to a bf . plazaman surge tank is about $2000 plus the fuel rail ,for a twin bosh set up with all the wiring looms etc .then I would still need a better in tank pump to pump it to the surge tank . what have other people done ?

Well since your in the business of spending ridiculous amounts of money in strange ways....I would suggest large single intank with a holley fuel mat.

Go on, be the first of us to try it.
