to me that is just as bad as when someone has had there car highly modified and then returns there car back to standard ,just the same as winding back the speedometer on a car . it is just not right ,as the next owner is left with a big bill to repair the car

not this sh*t again gunna. Wasn't even my car but still get the fark over it. If you are sick of buying lemons buy a new car.

If life gives you lemons fark it in the arse and give it lemonaids. Lol

(Waiting on butt plugs reply now.)

I said that in general ,never mention t anyones name . so what ,are you ok for people to change odometer readings on cars ? as that is highly illegal .have also talked to a friend that owns a caravan dealer ship (used to sell cars ) and he said returning a modified car back to standard is no different ,as it shortens the life expectancy of a car . just wait till you get a sour taste in your mouth ,and talk to me then . we all have different idea on what is right or wrong ,but this is very easy to work out who is in the wrong here . don't you think . so I am not even allowed to say what I believe in. I am not the one that starts swearing or threatening me not to step on peoples toes ,I am just giving my opinion . I might be a old carnt but I stick to my believes and not bow down to suck up peoples Butt s just so they like me .

I bought a 04 xr8 that looked brand new. Had 24k on the clock. Paid 28k when I got it. Found out that the car had the left side smashed and repaired. Dash was from a 05 ba that was written off. My car had 103k on it (really). so I have been there and had it happen to me. sh*t happens. Learn from your mistakes and move on. Now the poor bloke that bought mine after 5 years of trashing have a chat to him about donkeys. He bought a major lemon. It was yellow to.

By the way I sleep easy at night. ;)

Butt Plugs are funny things!

To some people Butt Plugs give lots of pleasure and indeed make them orgasim !

But to others Butt Plugs are very uncomfortable and are a real pain in the ass!

Pleasure or pain it's your choice.

Personally I like to experiment

We all get caught with something. Had a 540 V8 BMW that I wanted to burn.......... (Nicasil issue in the block plus a boring list of other tedious faults.)

BTW.......My missus reckons I had my odometer wound back and whoever re did my upholstery forgot to take the sag outta me ar*e end. Gotta bit of knock, ping and blow by first thing in the morning as well.

Give it a rest Gunna...you're becoming the new Mark with your repetitive drivel.

Car dealers go out of their way to hide and disguise vehicle histories so maybe take-up your agenda with every single used car yard in the nation that only cares about the vehicle holding together through the statutory warranty period. I.e. buying flogged fleet (or ex police cars) and dressing them up as new. That is no different to someone returning their vehicle to stock from a modified state.

If you want certainty then buy new with a manufacturer warranty - anything less is a compromise and a bit of a lucky dip. Yeah not everyone can afford that, but that's the unavoidable compromise.

But if you keep filling every single thread you post in with your pathetic thinly-veiled targeted agenda then your account will be placed on moderator preview. It's becoming very boring.

Well said tab....

Not exactly sure what button has been hit on your switch Pannel to have such an issue gunna ...

But I didn't notice u had absolutely not come back for the factual reply I wrote to u on YouTube.

Now u actually know the story I am surprised u are still on the crusade, makes u look like an even bigger uneducated moron.

Anywhooooo....

I have worked in car yards for a long time. I haven't come accross too many dodgy things but saying that I've worked at either FPV or HSV.

I do know of so many smaller yards especially "overlooking" or hiding issues to get a sale.

No it isn't fair!!!!

But in a case of someone trading a car into a car yard it is the responsibility of the car yard to check and account for any mechanical issues not the responsibility of the previous owner.

The only responsibility the previous owner has is to ensure the speedo is correct (you even sign a declaration for that at the bottom of your trade in contract).

Other then that, there is no responsibility... The reason being, a car could be totally cactus and most people who aren't mechanically minded wouldn't know.

I know so many friends who don't service their cars ever! Just top up with oil. Because they don't understand what it's doing to the car.

When they trade the car in is it their fault the next guy might get a Lemmon.... Well not really because they were free to treat their car as they wanted when they owned it then they traded it because it was old and fhucked... Now if they sold it privately and faked the books etc then yes it is!

Oh and for all curious, as I said to gunna on YouTube before he wet his panties ...

The jet was stripped and traded with no books, 200,000 genuine kms and they knew it was modified at some stages of its life. Nothing was lied about and nothing hidden.

In that case it is the car yards job to sell it in a condition they see fit.

I myself signed the odometer declaration and stand by it, and that's the only responsibility legally and morally I have to take.

So cram it up your cram hole lol
