I had it put in for inspection. They found the owner or previous owner had drilled a hole thru the radiator over flow cap. Any idieas as to why some one would do that. genuine honest person Member 2,769 Member For: 11y 7d Gender: Male Location: near brisbane Posted 13/02/15 09:33 PM Share Posted 13/02/15 09:33 PM had my ute checked out by RACQ before I bought it ,they said its all sweet . after owning it for one day it turned out to be the biggest lemon . they missed the 5 mm movement in the upper ball joints etc .engine was just about rooted and the gearbox was slipping in top gear . and the diff was stuffed . after I done the conversion from v8 to turbo 6 ,I found that the dash got changed from 2004 to a 2006 model .that is why it only had 47,000 klm on the clock . I think it must have had more than 200.000 klm on the clock when I bought it .to me that is just as bad as when someone has had there car highly modified and then returns there car back to standard ,just the same as winding back the speedometer on a car . it is just not right ,as the next owner is left with a big bill to repair the car Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
