Therefore how the I <3 Bananas could they stuff it up? Obviously a funny story there (link?)...I will try and get pics 2nite If I can

If I had to bet I would say it's a loose end link. Had it happen on my front a couple of times. You'll need a good size spanner and make sure they are tight. Start with that. You could try undoing the links and see if the bar actually moves freely. Could be to tight. Some even space the bracket out with some thin washers.Aaron is yet to spill the beans on WHO installed said sway bar upside down. HOW we will never know...id say drugs we're involved. I only heard the rear ones go off this morning as I pulled into the carpark (will see if they do it again on the way home). And if it is loose end links....I will be super pissed; as I specifically copied and pasted your text when I gave them my 'rundown' sheet of what I wanted done in my service. (The service dude thinks I'm funny cause I always give him extra pages and instructions when I get them to do stuff to my car). I even gave them the picture in OP (except I highlighted the correct red dots) and even wrote USE TORQUE WRENCH ONLY (which he wrote in the job notes) lolPlus with them having the car on a hoist; you would hope they could have got it real tight cause of all the space they have when compared to a dude installing them on his garage floor I'll have to give them a ring and see what he rekons....maybe my car is cursed, or maybe I'm just too paranoid/fussy when it comes to noises and how I think my 120,000km car should drive perfectly

Since I was getting bushes pressed out, and rear hub replaced, and things like that....one would hope it wasn't just a 16 year old who was performing said tasks lolAnd I can't do anything myself....legit; I break stuff when I attempt even the simplest of tasks :( Edited 18/02/15 07:28 AM by PTR_NITRO_FG
barnz Member 3,047 Member For: 11y 2m 1d Gender: Male Location: Brisbane Posted 18/02/15 07:50 AM Share Posted 18/02/15 07:50 AM Think your taking it a bit personally I was having a dig at ford more than anything. The particular dealer you use could be excellent for all I know, and every may have done correctly.Don't be harsh on yourself mate, your not a bad omen or whatever you think. Anybody can do it really, some will pick things up quicker than others. Grab yourself some basic tools and(make sure this includes a torque bar) a decent jack and some stands. Do plenty of research and save some dosh whilst being confident it's done right. I pretty much refuse to take my cars to a mechanic, too hard to find good ones. I struggle with getting tyres fitted cause I know the dumb karnts will either f*ck my wheels or not torque the nuts up correctly...or both...or not torque the nuts at all. Had a clunking noise after getting tyres fitted and felt weird on corners. Wheel was so loose it moved. Always rattling about and making clunks. The rear drop links supplied by them are hopeless. Your better off using the standard one. Atleast they stay tight. I'm at the point where I'm about to throw the standard ones back in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

They will stop your rear clunking instantly. The whiteline ones suck.
