Have driven the car all weekend and everything seems to be settled in very well.. No dramas at all and the rear end really holds down well now, instead of ending up sideways in first and second when launching it, car seems to just hold the rear straight now and progresses to the next gear. A major improvement on traction and no more broken diff bush ever again. Anybody thinking of doing these mods, its well worth it :)

hows the NVH levels with the new setu?

I got a steel hat waiting in cupboard I went the cat spec bushs nolthane rear and it already had the malwood diff hat. Yet to break the standard axles and diff bolt with this combination but shes all over the shop on the 900hp tune. wondering if fitting the diff hat would make a diffrence

if I were you I would give it a go mate.. im very impressed with the outcome.. (I fitted nolathane side bushes with my diff hat, the two piece ones) ive heard lots of good things about the CAT600 bushes Daniel makes but unsure of pros/cons with that and the Mal Wood hat set up as opposed to the Independent Motorsport dual bush diff hat setup..

fair enough mate, give it a go if your not happy with your current set up, don't worry, I was also very sceptical to hack my 2 year old car up because once you cut off your diff mount off you cant ever go back.. was well worth it though :dancing:

I have this setup with Cat600 front bushes and there is quite a bit of NVH. Must make a difference having the Nolathane front bushes. Very solid though. Also if you do ever decide to go back, the diff mounted bracket welded on to the rear crossmember is a $20 part. Have replaced them in a few Falcons and Territory's hit in the rear.
