Basically the advantage will be that you will have a brand new turbo vs a modded old one

New one everytime if the price is that close

I did the billet wheel 3540 upgrade, was cheap and works well

I think of it more as a DIY option though

My GT3576 died, so I got a BF turbo with 12lb actuator for $300, flapper upgrade for $185 by MTQ, ported it myself, kinuguwa 11 blade billet wheel was $250 + $25 postage, got it fitted and vsr balanced for free

So total of $760, $460 if I already had the 3540

But as butt plug says new if the budget can stretch, nothing like peace of mind

I hear imaginary noises every now and then lol

Is there much of a gain, or any benefit's to be had from upgrading the compressor housing with the billet wheel. I was under the impression, the gtx has a different front housing with a 4'' inlet.

This is the puppy

Can also get 6+6 blade version for slightly better mid range but not as much up top

Even cheaper now and 99% sure it's out of the same factory:

Btw my sig is incorrect...should say billet wheeled 3540 as I still have 3" 0.5 housing but can't remember how to edit it lol

That would basically be a GTX3582 wouldn't it? Or are cores different. Jet?
