Legs of 82? Any in the 9's yet?

They make about the same power.

I only know of 2 82's that have run a 9.

There is probably 100 times more GTX's than PTE6235's

On a built motor I would say the 6235 is capable of a high 9.

I was looking at my next upgrade, being a turbo, my tuner recommended going to an F6 turbo over the gtx76. He said, dollar for dollar, its not worth it as it will get me similar power. He said if I want more (dyno results wise) I may as well go the gtx82r ??

He is a reputable tuner, but is this a reasonable assumption ?

Turbo selection would depend on what you want to do with your vehicle?

Where in the rpm range the boost is delivered will be different between the selections of turbo's.

GT3576 is great for the stock setup, great for street, runs out of flow up in higher rpm.

GT3582 is next step up with greater air flow capabilities, good for street plus mods.

GTX's have a bunch of posts about them, plenty to read plus absorb.

It's dat bullsh*t torque curve that makes it so good but biz, not the overall figure.

Have you been to the track yet since the last round of mods?

na mate not yet. Still have to do the tail shaft. Money going quicker then its coming atm. Want it tuned properly before it hits the track.
