Hoping the rear will come up a solid 5mm with the new bushes and new spring mounts (whiteline probably)

Ive done a bit under 2000k's on them and I swear that the rear has softened up a bit sorta like they need a bit of time to be broken in Edited 10/03/15 08:08 AM by BenDoCo

Sounds like it might have been the towbar then.Really annoying, as I had a new circlip groove cut into my front shocks to raise them 10mm higher to make up for the difference in height to the rear, now the rear has bumped up around 10mm as well so the height difference is still there (and rear looks crap).Hub to guard at rear is now around 345mm with SSSL springs! Any way to get around this? I currently have no spare wheel in my boot though, got one sitting in my garage just need to get a tyre on it. The wheel is a 19" FPV rim. If I put this in the boot, will the ride height at the back drop at all? I'd just like to get it back to what it was previously (around 335mm).Yes the spare wheel will make a difference to the ride height. You have to remember that the springs are designed around a standard car with all the standard features in mind, if the vehicle is not the same then there will be variation. The ride height can vary left to right when the fuel tank is full or empty too since it's on the passenger side of the car.

Sending you a PM mate, don't wanna go off-topic here.Got around to doing this last w/end, all I changed was the blade bushes with the whiteline ones replaced both the rear lower spherical bearings and added a set of Pats sway bar links.Feels like a new rear, little if any added nvh no down side atmAt a guess I would say the whiteline bushes would sit in between the superpro comfort and comp bushesMuch better isn't it? I remember when mine was standard (with the flogged diff bushes), I could stand on my towbar and make the car bounce up and down. Once I replaced them all with Superpro, I stood on the towbar and the car barely moved. When I took my standard blade bushes out, they were well and truly flogged and were almost as bad as my diff ones (which practically disintegrated in my hand when I took them out lol).I'd say if your car has done a fair few K's, definitely get these checked out. xpl0sive Member 421 Member For: 16y 1m 9d Gender: Male Location: Melbourne Posted 12/03/15 09:19 AM Share Posted 12/03/15 09:19 AM I used Superpro competition ones, found here:http://www.superpro.com.au/superpro-parts/?p=superpro-bushing-kit-spf3182k&view=part&id=SPF3182K&cid=999500234&vid=They also do a standard replacement. The blades themselves can be removed fairly easily. 3 small bolts connect them to the IRS subframe and the bush end connects to 2 large bolts on the body of the car. You'll need a press to remove the old bushes and fit new ones though.

I destroyed the factory control blade bushes in my GT just from my FPV drive day...granted there may have been a bit of this involved:https://youtu.be/eUxXG9lBMvs
