Already have, they will take $400+ from me and give me back a set of good rims :)

haha, just sand them back, polish the fark out of it and then clear coat ;) isn't that what they'd do? follow MCM's "wheel painting" instructions, if necessary ;)

Thanks! Props to XF Falcon (Mike) who painted them. Reaper Customs WA guys, check them out for panel beating etc.

Steve what did it set you back roughly if you don't mind me asking? mine are in need of some loving...

Might be a good opportunity for me to get my bonnet aligned as well

Mike said $450 for any future brakes as it's a *beep* of a job. I got it a tiny bit cheaper at $400.

I also stripped brakes off car and delivered them to him. Picked up the following day.

Make sure to ask him if the extra fifty is to ensure correct logo orientation too, hahaha.

Anyone actually know where to get the BREMBO red paint?...Or know the paint code?

I doubt anybody would have needed to. My suggestion would be to scrape a bit of paint off from the un-seen side and then take that paint chip to a paint place and they'll be able to provide you with the paint code.

Also... you could try calling the brembo company, but I have no idea whether they'd be hospitable when it comes to giving out such information :)

You guys think warranty would cover something like clearcoat peeling off your Brembo brakes?...Anyone tried??

Worth a try. I've never heard of anybody with warranty having issues with the paint on their brakes.

I think some Mistibushi EVO guys have been able to claim flaking clearcoat off their calipers...I might just ask anyway...but I highly doubt it...

VG Auto Paints in Sydney said they could match it if I gave them a flake of paint...I'm hoping someone else could be the donor...lol

They actually had the code for the gold Brembos but didn't have it for the red, which I found strange as I would assume the red would be more common.
