K&n panel filter with holes cut in airbox (or turbo side/passenger intake kit).

Dont stinge on intercooler (monza/ebay/f6 cooler is barely good for 300 RELIABLY)...good one like Process West stage 2 or plaz 1000hp should help get close to 320 with the suggestions above

Needs good tyres to put power down and number one important thing is good tuner!

Im in Queensland (Bris).

I used to own a BF turbo with 310 at the rear but sold it a while a go and it was time to do it all again. this is what I have been looking at doing. any thought?

injectors

process west stage 2 cooler

race airbox

xforce exhaust

fuel pump

malwood stage 3 clutch

and trying to find a good tuner

once I get the car I have the wheels ready and getting some parts wrapped

Sounds good to me....but if you go full exhaust you may need to factor in a rear housing wategate/flapper mod (my tuner charges 1200 drive in/out)...that's why im sticking to venom bolt in cat + oem catback...they apparently flow enough to max out baby turbo anyways (330rwkw on 98)

PSIFRK,

I could have saved a buck if I'd known what I was doing - I've paid for a few retunes that I could have avoided.

I drive a 2008 FG XR6T. One of the things that has annoyed me is the power drop off in the warmer weather. If you're in Brisbane, it's my guess that the best intercooler available would be a good idea.

I bought a Cat and dump pipe upgrade with an early tune and it it's easy to tell the difference after that mod. If I bought a new XR6T, I'd do that again but I prefer the quiet of the factory mufflers.

Would I change the factory turbo next time? Maybe not even though it doesn't puff as hard up high - I suspect that the factory turbo puffs harder down low for every day street driving. If you want to protect your warranty for a while, I guess you might limit your mods for a while?

Are you 100% on that? Tuner seemed pretty adamant the 2 times that I asked him about it (but I guess its an extra $1200 added to the bill for them lol).

They were also telling me to get a surge at 300ish rwkw (because I like to run the fuel pretty low)....and yes they are one of the top 2 tuners here in WA; not some hobo trying to pretend that they know what they're talking about :P

Had 2 tuners tell me not to worry. I have full Nizpro exhaust as well. Had no issues with my car. Was told the small turbo won't make the boost to be a problem.
