Just had an eaton trutrac installed and had the rear bushes changed to superpro heavy duty.

Drive home and there is an annoying wine sitting on 115km/h under light acceleration and at certain revs while half accelerating there is a vibration that is not overly loud, but wasnt there before.

Anyone who had this done have similar issues after installing an eaton truetrac?

Took it back to the shop... apparently the tail shaft just needs balancing. There no weights on it at the moment and the old bushes were pretty flogged out so now its back to square it needs a balance.

Ford are doing it for 100.

Why a rebalance? Surely if they took the time to mark the tail shaft to gear box and tail shaft to diff and marked and ordered the factory plastic weights exactly how it was you would not have to be paying another $100 and losing a day.
