Surely if you have standard shaft this would not be a good thing, more chance of twisting the tube

On a built or strengthened shaft it would have to be alot better than the standard donut

As far as harshness goes I haven't noticed much. Did need (still need) stiffer bushes in the rear to eliminate a vibration under load. Still with 480kw and stock zf I've had zero breakages

Is there any banging/shunting in the driveline due to lack of "give" with billet over rubber? This is what I'd be most interested in knowing especially if it's a daily/family car and also where is the weak point then once these are fitted?

This was pretty much my concern. With solid superpro bushes in the rear + one of these, I was worried the driveline might be too rigid, and I'd end up with horrible banging/clunking or worse, end up breaking something. In the eBay add the guy reckons there is no increase in NVH and reduced backlash due to less movement in the tailshaft, but I thought it would be worse.

Nah didn't buy one mate. Couldn't get enough feedback on it, and I don't want to risk it.

I've decided to just replace with a standard rubber one.
