genuine honest person Member 2,769 Member For: 10y 10m 15d Gender: Male Location: near brisbane Posted 28/01/15 09:09 AM Share Posted 28/01/15 09:09 AM 5 mm of tread is ok ,but looking at your pictures that 5 mm looks more like 3 mm to me .that is why I said 5 mm , the most I let a tyre ware is usually 3.5 to 4 mm . by that stage the tyre has gone to hard for my liking ,and lost a lot of the tyres ability to grip how it was when it was new . so $850 for a set of new tyres is better than a $20,000 bill for a replacement car . look I am just giving my opinion on what I do ,I can understand that not everyone agrees with me on what I say . and that is ok with me . so what I am trying to say is that I do not want to step on someones toes . 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

For $300 each fitted (17inch) they were excellent with no or limited wheelspin on full take off on the street here in Townsville.A mate here (Ray076) also uses Nitto's on his FG turbo with 380+rwkw and they are pretty good but he can't take off anywhere near full throttle in 1st or 2nd but tyre wear fairly good allround.
