Also to the guys that are saying drop in system is overkill I agree but may want to go e85 in future also tuner says they are a better option then surge tank due to less chance of defects no excessive sound from the 044 whirring away also. And tbh have priced up both the drop in system is not much more expensive over a surge tank at all these days. Don't want to name the tuner on public forum coz I've pretty much put the price up and not to sure if hed be happy with that being up here but he is well regarded on this forum. Thanks for all the advice guys

The kpm twin in tank is an expensive option if your goal isn't 700kw

Good setup for e85 though and you would make more power if its a viable option

Also manual or auto? Can probably factor in a box if zf if your going to start pushing 400

Is an auto and yea tuner said Itl probs need a rebuild in near future have factored that in :)

Go plazmaman cooler and cai and bat. Save a few dollars there over pw stuff. Surge is cheaper the the kpm drop in to. Xforce stainless cat back is cheap.

Also what shop is doing the mods and tuning?

A Sydney tune shop and thanks for the advice :) and yea quote is on an xforce catback

Tuner says they are bagged out but really aren't that bad at all.

If it was me, I'd do the things in Blue.

plus look for someone flicking a PW surge tank, you can get them reasonably priced second hand. A single pump unit will be ok if you dont want to go crazy.

The stock intake, with a muffler delete will make good power and retain a stock look. leave the stock BOV, its money you dont need to spend. Dont do the airbox or battery relo, again, money you dont need to spend. just bore a 100mm hole in the lower half front of your stock air box. also look for someone reverting their build to stock or upgrading for cheaper parts if you're watching a budget, if you know what you are looking at/for damage wise, abused etc.

My f6 (manual) went 387kw with turbo gate, injectors, exh, stage 2 PW cooler, 12lb actuator and a small 400 walbro equipped surge tank (no HP from surge, just cheap insurance) BUT like the others say, it all comes down to your tuner.

My .02c

Sorry for the multiple quotes guys but hard to keep track on the phone at work thanks for the advice bud main reason I was doing the Bov is coz I've been told by multiple people that the factory ones leak at these types of boost levels?

If you car is BA/BF I would throw on a plenum. It will increase mid range torque. And that's were you drive it most of the time.

What makes you say it was done on the cheap? I thought at the time 310rwkw-320rwkw which is what tuner said car would make would be enough power and didn't want anymore but as usual I've gotten use to it and want more. At the time tuner was honest and said thts all I need for low 300's

Ok, so why are you staring at an $11,000 build now?

Starting an 11k build due to the fact I'm over the power and quiet note and want more power sound etc could have saved some money doing it all at once but thought it be plenty but you live and learn
