The exhaust has a metallic buzz/ringing from the metal itself, eg when you use more than 25% throttle it seems to buzz and vibrate from the engine bay/under neath the car, the stock exhaust did not do this.'ve heard after 6 months it will get better however after almost 3 months it still buzzes just as much as day one. I'm fairly sure this is due to the thin wall thickness of the stainless steel, so the question is, does anyone make a 4" dump and cat in mild steel that doesn't buzz? The X-Force website isn't very clear and I can't tell if it is only the muffler sections that come in mild steel. I've sent them an email but does anyone have a 4" dump that sounds the same as the stock one, eg no buzz or ringing? The stock exhaust with no middle muffler sounded awesome. I've put the stock muffler back in however it still sounds more raspy than it did standard with the advance dump which I don't really like.Suggestions?http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/89478-what-middle-muffler-for-bf-xr6-t/

Going to pull the heat shield off and see if that is the cause of the vibration.

Tig welded it back in, then put a plate over it to give it a bigger footprint. see how it goes...
