Dont the b series need an fg fuel tank for the KPM setup?

Spoke to KPM and what I was told is that they can make the 460 one fit my BF MK1 no problems. The twin pump setup requires an FG tank.

Quick one guys, I've been offered a second hand surge tank cheaper than what KPM's 460 in-tank pump sells for. What would be the better option? Can the Plaz/Process West surge be used for E85 or no?

Yeah

The Walbro 460 is 100% rated I believe and the 044 pump is rated at 500 hours

Don't forget too that it takes time to set them up and have complete wiring.

Oh yeah, that's right. Forgot the 044 is no good for E85. Hmmm. So I guess it boils down to whether I want to run E85 or not. Does the surge tank need the wiring loom to set up, or can it be set up without it?

044 will run e85 just don't expect it to last ten years.

As for the loom. You need a relay, power/earth and can grab the fuel pump signal from the intertia switch in the LHS kick panel and out through the shifter grommet.

I'm running a PW surge and a fuel lab pump and reg on e85. Can't fault it.
