So unless you are upgrading rears to territory/f6 calipers....you would only need to buy fgt front setup. The front caliper is the same between turbo/non turbo... so you could buy the $150 aftermarket bracket off ebay and use your existing caliper and buy new 322mm rotors to suit. That sucks then..I read on a couple threads that guys have just put on bigger rotors (BF, FG) using std BA callipers and it works?"well after a few months of fart arsing around and investigating different options in terms of brake setup on the budget, I finally installed some upgraded brakes. Thanks to rjs for selling me his unused standard brakes of his FG T that came with bendix ultimates for the fronts. Went down to my local mechanic at the servo, been going to him for years, installed with just a little fiddling round. The calipers are exactly the same from BA to FG and bolt holes lined up. Disc size is larger 298 to 322. The calipers I got came with brake hoses but my mechanic said it was easier to use the old brake lines as the new calipers didnt have the right braket to mount. No dramas I thought. The only trick he said was the left hand caliper went onto the right and vice-a-versa. Bled them by the pumping method and $120 later I finally can drive my car without shudder. That included Brand new rotors, pays, calipers and hoses.I bought them with mixed info as to whether they would actually fit up to my BA, but I thought it was well worth the gamble. For abit extra stopping power I bought a pair of Greenstuff pads and decided to paint them red while I was at it.Well after an afternoons work they are fitted up and everything works as it should"

I'm not very good with the terms....but yeah. The caliper themselves are apparently the same...but by using the different mounting bracket, it allows the larger 322mm rotors to fit. As mentioned; theres a dude on fleabay who sells the bracket for $150 odd.... and therefore if your calipers are still in good working order then you fit these brackets and buy some larger rotors. Its up to you cause I know from time to time you can find FGT calipers for like $150ish....but just depends how long they have been sitting around for (I ended up paying $200 or so to have a spare set of calipers rebuilt and they painted them with a can as well). As they told me that when the calipers sit around; the seals and stuff can freeze up and the rubbers can perish I.e. buying from wreckers, etc.And again...95% sure the rears are the same for all the BA-FG models (I.e. 303mm solid rears)...except for the BF MKI which had the territory/f6 rear setup (328mm ventilated rears). This requires some trimming of the backing plate to make the slightly larger caliper fit (this was for going on my FG BTW) and the brakes place were hesitant at first, but afterwards realised it wasn't such a mission. Only downside that I didn't consider was the price of new rotors to suit (cause they are basically on par/slightly more expensive than the front) where as the 303mm are dirt cheap. I don't know whether I feel any difference with going the larger rears (as fronts do probably 2/3 of the stopping)....but I did it purely so they look more symmetrical all round lol Also, if the reason you are upgrading is to stop a shudder....I would investigate bushes/suspension components first (Pedders inspection) and cause yours is BA the brake master cylinder thing also is a culprit (something about the piston needing readjustment). Just doesn't make sense how you could just fit a larger rotor on and it would work. I have a mate that has bought those Aftermarket caliper brackets for his VE and he's had them in for ages and they seem to work fine. Another guy said that there is a slight difference in the calipers BA/FG dunno if that's true or not?My brakes are fine just a bit squeely.. A guy is wrecking his FGT and was selling his front and rear brakes for $200 and I thought it would be a good upgrade, but found out the rears are the same and the fronts are just the bigger rotor, so not much gain once getting it swapped over.. Might look at it again when the brakes need to be done..Thanks for your help mate..

The caliper is better and the discs are 32mm thick instead of 28mm thick.
